Four Roads police are investigating an incident in Diego Martin last night, in which a 39-year-old man was shot during an attempted robbery.
Reports are that around 8pm, the victim was at a lotto booth he runs on Franklin Road, Four Roads, Diego Martin, when three men came in and announced a robbery.
One of the men shot him before running away without the cash.
Neighbours, on hearing the gunshot, ran to the man’s aid and found him bleeding on the floor. He was rushed to hospital, where he was treated and listed in stable condition.
