A 28-year old man is now dead after he was shot in the head, face and hand with his own gun.
Dead is Donelle Sheldon Defreitas of Harris Hill, Laventllle Road, San Juan.
Report are that around 5:30am on Saturday, De Freitas was seen showing off with his firearm, at La Hoe Road, Febeau Village in San Juan and sometime later, gave the gun to another man to hold.
However, the man he gave the gun to refused to give it back and subsequently shot De Freitas multiple times about the body.
The shooter then fled the scene.
Officers of the North Eastern Division Task Force responded and upon arrival, they found the man on the roadway nursing gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to the hospital where was pronounced dead on arrival.
Investigations are continuing.
