Police are trying to determine a motive for the murder of Isaiah “Oopsie” Commissiong, which took place on Christmas Day in La Horquetta.
Police said shortly after 1 pm, Commissiong had just left Phase 7 and was walking along Phase 6, near the La Horquetta Recreation Ground, when he was ambushed by gunmen.
Commissiong attempted to run but collapsed in the Savannah where he died near a group of men who were playing a football game.
Reports state that Commissiong was celebrating his 20th birthday on Christmas Day.
