One man was arrested by officers of the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) for robbery. The suspect was arrested on Wednesday 17th February 2021.
A man reported that he was at his store at Old St Joseph Road, Laventille, when he was robbed of his motor vehicle and other valuables.
Based on information received, officers of Inter-Agency Task Force(IATF) on mobile patrol at the corner of Pump Trace and Eastern Quarry, Laventille, intercepted a grey Kia Sportage vehicle, which was involved in a robbery at the corner of Old St Joseph Road and Thomasine Street Laventille earlier.
The suspect, a 31-year old man of Christina Gardens, Arima, and of Dan Kelly, Laventille was arrested.
Investigations are ongoing.
