The driver of a BMW was killed on Friday night close to the Guayamare River Bridge along the Churchill Roosevelt Highway (CHR).
Rabindranath Soogrim from Lime Head Road, Chase Village was driving his BMW-sedan along the southbound lane of the CHR around 11:00p.m, when he lost control of his car and crashed into a light pole. Reports indicate Soogrim may have been driving at a speed of 140km/h. He died instantly after impact.
Investigations are continuing.
