While the rest of the country were celebrating Divali , lighting deyas and sharing meals with family and friends Baldeo Soogrim and his daughter are reeling from the loss of all their belongings in a fire which destroyed their home on Roshard Road Penal.
They were not at home at the time but neighbors say the fire seemed to start in the front bedroom that he occupied.
They lost everything and his daughter has sought refuge at a neighbors home. Soogrim even lost the machine shop tools he uses to make his living. He is accepting help from kind persons willing to donate to him rebuilding. Anyone wishing to help can call 799 2454.
