Jack Warner promises ILP will be disbanded “within the next month”

Jack Warner says all the social media ridicule regarding his decision to return to the UNC does not bother him.

Speaking this morning on Power 102 Digital’s Power Breakfast Show, Warner said he has looked past that as he believes the future of the country is in question.

Warner said while he is aware of what he said in the past about Kamla Persad-Bissessar’s leadership, he believes in change.

He added that given what is at stake, burying the hatchet wasn’t a difficult decision.

The ILP leader also elaborated on his promise last night that his party will be disbanded and reintegrated into the UNC.

He gave a 1 month timeline for the process to be completed as he lamented T&T’s politics, describing T&T as a two party state.

Warner addressed his on-going extradition battle with the United States.

He maintained his claim that they are attempting to vilify and incarcerate him because they failed in a previous bid to host the World Cup.

The US has since won the right to host the 2026 World Cup in conjunction with Mexico and Canada.
