Government is being told to ensure the surplus of revenue it is experiencing should be used to benefits citizens especially in light of the rising cost of living.
Contributing to debate on the Finance Supplementary Appropriation Financial Year 2022 Bill in the Senate Friday afternoon, Opposition Senator, Wade Mark, commented on the raising price of food and its impact on the population.
Senator Mark also expressed concern over the current state of the trading and non-trading sectors adding developments internationally can change quickly which can have serious effects on Trinidad and Tobago.
