Coach Courtney Walsh is optimistic skipper, Hayley Matthews and experienced player, Stafanie Taylor, will be fit to play in their vital game against Ireland at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 tomorrow.
Taylor was stretchered off the field in the game against India on Wednesday.
Captain Matthews also suffered a shoulder injury in the match.
The regional side lost their opening fixture against England by seven wickets and went down to India in their second match.
Ireland lost to England in the opening match and was beaten by Pakistan by 70 runs in the second game.
