Education Minister Reports Lower Teacher Turn Out For Online Classes Thursday.

A lower teacher turn out for online classes is reported by the Ministry of Education.

The development was revealed by Minister of Education, Dr Nyan Gadsby-Dolly, while speaking at a news briefing on Thursday.

The situation comes on the heels of the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association expressing concern with preparations by the Ministry of Education ahead of the physical reopening of school on Monday for forms four, five and six students.

However, Minister Gadsby Dolly appealed to the teachers to put the welfare of students first.

Minister Gadsby Dolly said in spite of various difficulties faced by the Ministry it has been doing what is required to ensure the learning process is not affected.

Minister Gadsby Dolly also commented on the issue of teachers who are yet to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as well as students who have been vaccinated.
