Gary Griffith criticizes failure of TTPS to an act on report

Gary Griffith is criticizing what he has described as inaction on the part of the TTPS after he submitted information to the service.
The Former Police Commissioner maintained that the information submitted should have triggered investigations in three matters of national Security concern however there has been no action to date.
He says the ball is now in the courts of the PCA, the newly instituted PSC and the DPP’s Office.
He believes failure to act will further erode public confidence and trust.
According to Acting Police Commissioner McDonald Jacob reports submitted by Griffith are now with the Special Branch of the TTPS for that unit to consider whether there are grounds for investigations into alleged misbehaviour in Public Office in a conspiracy to remove Griffith from Office.
Griffith is calling the move a clear cop out.
