Principal Medical Officer Dr Maryam Abdool Richards there is a predicted increase in Covid cases over the next few weeks.
She made the comment at the Ministry of Health’s Covid Media Update on Monday.
She stated that this is based on the recently concluded holiday period when there would have been an increase in movement and more involvement in gatherings and activities.
She implored those who start experiencing Covid like symptoms to seek help immediately.
