Four health workers under investigation

Four health workers, two of them doctors, are subjects of an investigation launched by the Ministry of Health, into claims made by a woman, named Pearly Graham who said she was chased out of the Princes Town District Health Facility in January, and lost her twin babies hours later.

The findings are contained in a 13-page report which was shown in Parliament on Friday by the Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh who said it would be used to determine what action could be taken against the workers who are employed by the South West Regional Health Authority (SWRHA).

They were identified as being involved in an incident when the Moruga mother of three came to the health facility on January 21.

The four workers are currentlty on paid administrative leave.
