Eight more families are grieving the loss of their loved ones due to COVID-19.
The passing brings the total number of Covid-19 related deaths to one thousand, four hundred eighty-two locally.
The Ministry of Health in its latest clinical update on Thursday afternoon, said the persons were two elderly males, three elderly females and two middle males with comorbidities, as well as one young adult female without comorbidities.
The Ministry said two hundred and fifty additional persons have tested positive for Covid-19.
It said twenty-eight persons have been discharged from public health facilities.
The Ministry said there have been one hundred and seventy-two recovered community cases.
It said there are two hundred and ninety-four patients in hospital with the virus.
Patients in home self-isolation stand at three thousand, six hundred and thirty-one.
There are one hundred and fourteen patients in state quarantine facilities with the virus.
Fifty-six patients are at step down facilities.
Forty-four thousand, nine hundred and ninety-six persons have recovered from the virus in Trinidad and Tobago.
