E. coli outbreak hit 7 states in the U.S

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has launched an investigation into an E. coli outbreak that has spread to seven states in the U.S.

In a USA Today report CDC officials in Minnesota found E. coli in a package of Josie’s Organics Baby Spinach.

The Josie’s spinach products in question have a “Best by” date of Oct. 23. The news outlet says the outbreak has impacted seven states, including Minnesota, Ohio, Missouri, Indiana, South Dakota, Iowa, and Michigan.
