Two men from Penal are due to appear virtually at the Siparia Magistrates’ Court today. The two accused were arrested and later charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking on Tuesday 4th May, 2021.
NICHOLAS CEDENO, a 25-year-old scaffolder, and KEANU CHANDLER, a 29-year-old scaffolder, both of Rock Road, Penal, were arrested around 3 pm yesterday by officers of the Penal CID.
The two men were arrested when officers who were acting on information stopped and searched a white Nissan AD wagon, in which the two accused were occupants. During the search officers allegedly found 1.594kg of marijuana. Both men were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking by WPC Noriega.
