Dr Nyan Gadsby-Dolly has indicated her intention to step down from her position as Vice Chairman of the People’s National Movement.
The Member of Parliament for St Anns East was elected to the post of Vice Chairman in the December internal elections of the PNM.
This announcement comes on the heels of her recent appointment as a Deputy Political Leader of the party.
In a statement today Dr Gadsby-Dolly said, “As I transition from Vice Chairman to Deputy Political Leader, I again thank the PNM members for their support.”
She also thanked PNM Political Leader, Dr Keith Rowley, for the confidence he has reposed in her and looks forward to working with the leadership team in service to the party and the country.
