Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith is on a mission to rid the streets of illegal guns. Griffith is inviting members of the public to call him at 482-GARY and let him confidentially know who has illegal firearms.
The COP said now that the Firearms Amendment Bill has been passed, the police can begin the operational aspect of the legislation.
“What has to happen is the operational aspect where members of the public come forward and they can use 482-GARY and provide information on who has guns, so that the guns can be gotten off the streets”.
