Commission Of Enquiry’s Report Into Paria Tragedy To Be Completed By April, Says Chairman Lynch

April this year is the timeline being given by the Commission of Enquiry into the death of four LMCS divers at a Paria Fuel Trading facility for a report to be made public.

This was revealed by Chairman of the Commission, Jerome Lynch, at the sitting of the enquiry on Friday.

The COE commenced its proceedings In September 2022.

Chairman Lynch said all will be done to ensure the public can get a copy of the report.

Mr Lynch said the Commission remained focus on getting the facts behind the unfortunate incident which impacted on family and friends of the divers.

Counsel to the Commission, Ramesh Lawrence Maharaj also gave his input into the matter.

Attorney for Paria Fuel Trading Limited, Gilbert Peterson, also had his say on the development.
