As Michael Cherrie celebrates a huge accomplishment of being cast as one of the lead actors in the upcoming international Netflix film, titled ‘Shirley’, it is his hope that his peers in the Arts sector, both locally and regionally, are afforded similar opportunities.
During an interview on the Power Breakfast Show on Power 102 Digital this week, the Trinidadian actor recounted his experience, so far, engaging with the international cast and crew of this current project.
Also pointing out the caliber of talent at home, he called on his compatriots to bring their A-game.
‘Shirley’ is being produced by U.S actress and director Regina King (The Harder They Fall) and writer/director, John Ridley (12 Years a Slave).
