AG says Public sector workers who do not get vaccinated by mid – January could face dismissal

Public sector workers who do not get vaccinated against Covid 19 once the Government’s public sector safe zone initiative takes effect from mid – January have to face more than being furloughed.
Speaking at a Virtual Media Briefing on Tuesday the Attorney General explained that furloughs are not indefinite and the end result could be dismissal.
He said he was currently settling what he described as draft alternatives of the law for the proposed Public Sector Safe Zones meant to increase the level of vaccination again the Covid 19 Virus in Trinidad and Tobago.
