Bunji, Mical run neck and neck in tight race for Road March Downtown

Carnival Contract and DNA were the two most played songs for the Parade of Bands in downtown Port-of-Spain on Monday.

The two popular songs featured heavily as masqueraders enjoyed themselves through the streets of Port- of-Spain and across the Savannah stage yesterday.

However, opinions were divided on which should win the Road March among masqueraders.

Teja sang and wrote two of the most requested songs of the short season, including his Road March contender “DNA” and Farmer Nappy’s (Darryl Henry) groovy anthem “How Ah Living”.

Coming off last year’s Road March win with ‘Hard Fete’ Garlin had a somewhat slower start with ‘Carnival Contract’ this time around.
However the song has picked up quite the momentum and has now placed him at the top of the list of contenders for the title once again.
With one more day to go, time will tell which of these two will ultimately reign supreme as Road March King 2024!
