A popular fast food outlet was reportedly robbed at Price Plaza, Chaguanas on Saturday night.
A female employee of the food chain reported to police that she went to put out the garbage at around 11pm, when she was approached by two men who announced a robbery.
She ran back into the establishment, but was followed by the suspects, who then made their way into the manager’s office.
The bandits ransacked the office and relieved the business of approximately $40,000 in cash.
Chaguanas CID are now investigating the matter.
