An attorney collapsed and died in court on Friday, leaving the legal fraternity and his colleagues in shock.
Retired deputy Solicitor General Duncan Neil Byam reportedly collapsed while addressing Justices of Appeal Allan Mendonca, Prakash Moosai and Gillian Lucky at the Hall of Justice, Port of Spain.
Reports state that when he collapsed, a security officer and the judges and attorneys who were in court made attempts to resuscitate him, but to no avail.
