ASP tells T’bgo businesses: “Stop being stupid!”

An Assistant Commissioner of Police in Tobago, Daniel Moore, is sending a warning to the business community on the island.
He’s telling the community not to part with their hard-earned cash without verification and triple checks.
This as a number of business people have been conned out of thousands of dollars.

He said there are many examples of the thousands of dollars lost by the business community.

ACP Moore said contrary to popular belief, police officers are not miracle workers.
He maintained the failure of the Bail Act in Parliament has hidered the police somewhat.
