Attorney General says that it is the Opposition that is being disingenuous.
Speaking with News Power Now this morning, Attorney General Faris Al Rawi said that unfortunately the Government has not had the support of their colleagues in the Opposition in relation to some very important issues.
He said the Evidence Amendment Bill was one important example.
The AG stated the heart and soul of the Bill – witness protection – is what makes a difference to the average citizen.
He said the UNC is the only encumbrance to first world protection for witnesses at trials.
