A 60- year-old man was arrested for being in possession of firearms and ammunition during a warrant exercise conducted in the Northern Division between 11.45 pm on Wednesday 11th November and 6.15 am on Thursday 12th November, 2020.
During this exercise a search warrant was executed at the Maracas Royal Road, Maracas home of the suspect, where one 12 gauge shot gun with five rounds of 12 gauge cartridges and one pellet gun were found and seized.
The suspect was subsequently arrested. The exercise was spearheaded by Insp. Hernandez, supervised by
Sgt Thomas, Cpl Forde and Cpl Superville, and included officers of the St Joseph CID, Northern Division Task Force – West and the K9 Unit.
