The coronavirus outbreak has been affecting individuals across the globe, including members of the hip-hop community, in the U.S who are currently unable to tour because of restrictions that have been put in place to stop the disease from spreading.
Rappers’ pockets could be severely impacted by the pandemic and 50 Cent thinks that their record labels should bail them out, if necessary.
During an Instagram Live conversation on Tuesday night, with Van Lathan, hosted by XXL, Fifty Cents shared his thoughts on if artistes will be able to survive after the quarantine, which doesn’t have a specified end date. He said they are going to need the money and the ones with the momentum that you see, their record companies are going to have to deliver that.
He also talked openly about his relationship with his first son, saying that he felt his child’s mother didn’t want to work and encouraged their son to depend on child support money.
However fans of 50 cent disagreed with his decision not to have a father son relationship despite the child’s mother involvement.
