A man identified as Ronald Edwards was shot and killed in Arima on Friday night.
Edwards, 40, was walking on Hilltop Drive, off Moonlight Avenue, at around 6:55 pm when he was confronted by a gunman who shot him in his head and face before running away.
Edwards was found by passers-by bleeding on the street and was taken to the Arima Hospital where he was declared dead at around 7:20 pm.
Police from the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region II are continuing enquiries.
