Isan Constant, the man charged with beheading four-year-old Amarah Lallite on April 8th, 2024, will be spending three more weeks at the St Ann’s Psychiatric Hospital before reappearing in court.
Constant was ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation at the hospital when he appeared before High Court Master Margaret Sookraj-Goswami on April 16.
The 39-year-old was expected to reappear before Master Sookraj-Goswami on Wednesday but officials at the hospital indicated that they would need more time to complete the process.
He is now expected back in court on May 21.
