Four suspects were arrested during an anti-crime operation in the Tobago Division on Tuesday morning, following recent incidents of armed robberies on the island.
The exercise, which took place on Tuesday 4th July, 2023, was spearheaded by Insp. (Ag.) Stewart and Sgt. Wilson of the Shirvan Road Criminal Investigations Department.
During the exercise, officers executed several search warrants for firearms, ammunition and stolen items at various locations.
The operations led to the successful apprehension of four male suspects, two of whom are wanted in connection with two recent robberies in the Shirvan Road district, while the other two are wanted in connection with robberies in the Lowlands area.
The Tobago Division thanks members of the public for its partnership in making this operation a success and urges continued collaboration to take the fight to the criminal elements on the island.
