A resident of Wallerfield was shot and killed in Valencia.
Reports state that Jevon Boyce of Antigua Road Wallerfield was standing within the vicinity of the Valencia market at around 2:05 PM when a lone gunman walked up to him and shot him.

Vendors and pedestrians witnessed the incident and called the police.
Officers rushed to Boyce and transported him to the Sangre Grande Hospital where succumbed to injuries.
Investigation into the murder is underway.
