$27M spent on Manta Lodge Hotel and Dive Centre in Tobago

$27 Million is spent on the Manta Lodge Hotel and Dive Centre.

It was formally handed over to the Tobago House of Assembly recently.

24 rooms will be added to the island’s room stock.

The Urban Development Corporation of Trinidad and Tobago was contracted by the Division of Tourism, Culture, Antiquities and Transportation to provide project management services for the refurbishment of the property.

This was done on September 30th, 2020.

Chief Administrator, Ethlyn John,  said.“It is a signal this present administration remains committed to the growth of tourism, as well as ensuring return on its investment.

John said the focus is to transform the sector to responsible development across key sectors of the tourism industry, including the accommodation sector.”
