21 additional persons have tested positive for COVID-19

The Ministry of Health is reporting 21 new positive COVID-19 cases in the past forty-eight hours.

In its latest clinical update it says of the twenty-one new positive cases none are recently repatriated persons.

The Ministry says seven thousand, two hundred and twenty-two persons have recovered from the virus.

It says from March 12th to present there have been seven thousand, six hundred and seven positive COVID-19 cases.

The Ministry says there are thirty patients in hospital with the virus.

One hundred and ninety-nine persons are in home self-isolation, three hundred and seventy are in state quarantine facilities and none are at step down facilities.

The Ministry says one hundred and thirty-five persons have died from COVID-19 in Trinidad and Tobago.
