On the heels of concerns about flooding in various parts of the country there is word one hundred and thirty-four desilting projects have been completed.
Confirmation of this comes from Director of the Drainage Division, Paula Webber.
Ms. Webber said two hundred and fifteen desilting projects have been started in Trinidad and Tobago.
She said the Division has intensified its activities in this area since 2017.
Ms. Webber made the remarks while speaking at a news briefing held by the Ministry of Works and Transport Thursday afternoon.
