10 fraud charges for 21-year-old man

A 21-year-old man will appear virtually before a Port-of-Spain Magistrate on Monday, August 16th charged with ten fraud offences.

Jabari Anderson, of First Street, San Juan, was formally charged on Friday, August 13th, with three counts of possession of forged national identification cards, one count of personation, one count of attempt to obtain TT$85,200, and five counts of uttering forged documents.

A report was made sometime in August to the Central Police Station by officials of the JMMB bank which led to an intelligence-based investigation.

On August 11th, a search warrant was executed at the home of a man which gave officers the evidence needed to arrest and charge Anderson.
