Trinidadian recording artiste, Akhenaton “Yung Bredda” Lewis will celebrate his twenty-fourth birthday tonight (Tuesday, October 3rd) at the ever-popular Woodford Cafe restaurant and entertainment center located in Price Plaza, Chaguanas.

Open to the public and welcoming the presence of all his fans, this event will also serve as the official release of his debut album, 3/10, which he will present live on stage and is titled after his birth date. Lewis told Izzso Media that the album serves as a complete body of work representing his talent and versatility as an entertainer.

“Allyuh will be surprised with the music I have on this album,” he enthused during one of recent daily live stream sessions. “I wrote a song inspired by my mother and grandmother and that’s one of the main songs I want to push off this album. I wrote a song for women who have issues with themselves and are not comfortable with their bodies and such. I really want everyone to come out and just see and hear and experience all sides of me – I am a songwriter, I am a performer and I am an entertainer. I’m a real human being also so I do have feelings and thoughts and ideas and it’s not just about having fun and slackers all the time.”

In the midst of the covid-19 pandemic in 2021, Lewis was just having fun during an Instagram live session where he broadcast himself spitting rhymes in a captivating freestyle. The video went viral on social media and not only catapulted the artiste into the spotlight, but opened doors for him outside of his home country.

Fast forward just two years later and Lewis’ social media following has grown ten-fold to over 300,000 followers on Instagram alone, his musical releases continue to captivate the masses throughout the Caribbean region and the wider Diaspora. Fresh from his firest performance in Paris, France last weekend, he returns to Trinidad to celebrate his birthday and the launch of his 13-track debut album entitled 3/10 on this date tonight.

“I might cry eh allyuh,” he confessed during a live Instagram stream from his hotel in Paris, a few hours before taking the stage. “I just feel so happy and proud of myself for being able to share this album with you guys finally. Ah come from far and look how I’m representing flying the flag high here in Paris. Big performance in Paris later and yuh done know we gonna get wild for my birthday back home on Tuesday night!”
