World Cup 2022: Netherlands, Senegal Progress To Knock Out Stage

Netherlands and Senegal are into the knock out stage of the 2022 Fifa World Cup in Group A.

The Dutch got the better of host Qatar 2-0 today with goals from Gakpo in the (26’minute) and de Jong in the 49^th minute.

Netherlands will play runners-up from Group B on Saturday.

Senegal will face Group B winner on Sunday.

Senegal defeated Ecuador 2-1 with goals in the 44^th and 70 from Sarr and Koulibaly while Caicedo netted for Ecuador in the 67^th.

At 3pm, Iran faces the United States of America and Wales square off against England in Group B.

England will advance if they avoid a four-goal defeat. Wales must win and hope USA-Iran finishes in a draw.
