WI cricketers start test tomorrow on Day Three of the second Test match against Australia

West Indies cricketers will start play tomorrow on Day Three of the second Test match against Australia with a lead of 35 runs.

Reply to the 311 scored by the regional side in the first innings, Australia declared on 289 for 9.

Good scores came from Usman Khawaja who made 75 runs; Alex Carey 65 and Captain Pat Cummins 64 not out.

Alzarri Joseph led the Windies bowling attack with figures of 4 wickets for 84 runs from 14 overs.

Fast bowler Kemar Roach also provided support with 3 for 47 from 11 overs.

Earlier, West Indies who started day two on 266 for 8 were eventually dismissed for 311 after winning the toss and decided to bat first.
