WHO approval of Pfizer vaccine for 5-11 year olds will have little impact on this country’s healthcare system says Nurses Association President

The WHO approval of the Pfizer vaccine for 5-11 year olds will have little impact on this country’s healthcare system even if it is implemented here.

So says Head of the Registered Nurses Association, Idi Stewart.

Speaking with News Power Now, he reiterated that the heaviest burden on the healthcare sector has been the elderly and persons with comorbidities.

Addressing the possible return to physical schooling, Stewart said speaking as a father he believes it is time that students return to the classroom.

However, he said the lack of policy surrounding that issue means he will be guided by TTUTA’s stance on the matter.
