Water Supply Disruption For Customers Served By El Socorro Booster Station

From 4pm Wednesday to noon Thursday there will be a disruption in the water supply for customers in parts of North West Trinidad, served by the El Socorro Booster Station.

The Water and Sewage Authority says this has become necessary in order to carry out critical mechanical repairs at the facility.

Affected areas include Barataria, Morvant, Laventille, Picton Road, East Dry River, Port-of-Spain (Downtown), St. James, Belmont, Woodbrook, West Moorings, Long Circular Road, Dundonald Hill, Dibe, Cocorite, St. Ann’s, Cascade.

Customers are advised that it may take up to 24 hours for the supply to normalize to some affected areas following the completion of these repairs.

A limited truck borne service will be available upon request.
