WASA Issues Notice Of Service Disruption In Parts Of Maraval

The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising customers in parts of Maraval served by the Maraval Water Treatment Plant, who are presently experiencing reduced pressures or in some cases no water supply that, this is due to a mechanical problem affecting one of the pumps at the facility.

WASA says emergency repair works currently underway are expected to be completed by 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday,  September 7th.

Areas affected include: Along Saddle Road, Maraval inclusive of the following: Moka, La Seiva, Hillsboro, Fairways, Andalusia, Morne Coco Road including Faustin Trace, Celestine Trace and environs, Haleand Park, Collens Road, Bergerac Road, Lynch Drive, Valleton Avenue.

In a media release WASA further noted that it may take up to 24 hours for the service to normalize to some affected areas following the completion of the repair works.
