Police have identified the body of the man found along Lady Chancellor Road in Port of Spain on Sunday as Marvin Joseph.
Joseph was said to be from Sawmill Avenue in Barataria.
At about 4.15 am yesterday, police received a report from a jogger that the body of a man with apparent stab wounds had been found along the popular exercise track, in the vicinity of the Horticulture Centre.
Officers then found the body of the man, of African descent, dark in complexion and medium build, lying at the side of the roadway.
A post-mortem is now expected to take place this week at the Forensic Science Center in St James in keeping with the investigatory process.
