WASA Customers Served By St. Julien Booster Station To Get Interuption In Water Supply Thursday

The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising customers served by the St. Julien Booster Station there will be an interruption in their water supply on Thursday from 10: 00 a.m. to 6: 00 p.m.

This has become necessary in order to facilitate the installation of a flow meter to improve the efficiency in operations at the facility.

Affected areas are Cumuto, Cunjal, Battan Trace, Paynter Trace, Subratee Trace, Teelucksingh Trace, St. Mary’s, Burton Trace, Preau Village, Barrackpore, Rochard Douglas Road, Hindustan, Indian Walk, Sixth Company, St. Julien Village along Naparima Mayaro Road.

Customers are advised it may take up to 24 hours for the supply to normalize in some of the affected areas, following the completion of these works.

Motorists are also advised during the course of these works, there will be traffic restrictions along St. Georges Road, off Sancho Branch Road, St. Julien (in the vicinity of St. Julien Road recreation ground).

Motorists are asked to use alternative routes or proceed with caution when approaching the jobsite and obey the signs and instructions of Traffic Control Officers on duty.
