A teenager is dead and a 33-year-old man is nursing gunshot wounds, after they were ambushed while playing a game of cards on the roadside in La Romaine last night.
Police say 19-year-old Raheem Richards, who lived at Nice Street, La Romaine, was with other people roadside at Pemberton Street, La Romaine, when a lone gunman came stealthily through a storm drain and surprised them at around 11.30p.m.
The man began shooting.
Richards died at the scene and 33-year-old Mark de la Bastide was wounded.
investigations are underway.
