T&T’s Political Arena Can Accommodate Future Coalition Arrangement, Says Nunez Tesheira

It is the view of one former government minister that this country’s political arena could accommodate a coalition arrangement in the future.

The assessment came from former Finance Minister, Karen Nunez  Tesheira.

The progress of such a system in the United Kingdom was reviewed by Mrs Nunez Tesheira during the Afternoon Power Drive on Power 102 Digital on Monday.

Mrs Nunez Tesheira warned, should a coalition system come into the political landscape it should be free from what she described as baggage.

Reflecting on the development, Mrs Nunez Tesheira said the population is demanding trust and leadership in this crucial stage of the Trinidad and Tobago’s history.

Mrs. Nunez Tesheira also commented on positive prospects which can work in the benefit of Chief Secretary of the Tobago House of Assembly, Farley Augustine.

However, she cautioned Mr Augustine should do what is required to maintain his credibility.
