“The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service respects all religious groups in Trinidad and Tobago”. So said Acting Commissioner of Police Mc Donald Jacob when he received information that police officers allegedly desecrated a tent owned by a Muslim group.
Via a media release from the TTPS, Acting Commissioner Jacob notes that he takes these allegations very seriously, as officers must respect all religious groups as they conduct their duties.
He further states that if persons are aggrieved because of the alleged incident, they should report the matter and an investigation will be launched into the alleged incident.
