The Program Manager of a radio station on the island of St Vincent and the Grenadines, Rodney Caruth, says that recent volcanic activity continues to present problems on the island.
He told the Power Breakfast Show this morning the entire country has been adversely affected by the volcano, however those in the safe zone are not in immediate danger.
He revealed that most persons who are being evacuated are going to shelters with just a small number of persons actually leaving the island.
He said that there are persons who do not want to be evacuated because they do not want to take the Covid 19 vaccine.
