Veteran journalist and Newsday Crime Editor, Nalinee Seelal, has passed away.
Nalinee had been suffering for a very long time from several complicated health issues.
According to her husband, who spoke to Guardian Media, he went to check on Seelal around 4:30 am today and discovered she had no vitals.
He contacted both the police and health services, who confirmed that she had passed away.
Her body was removed to Boodoo’s Funeral Home, Cunupia.
