Police have reportedly arrested a Venezuelan woman, said to be the mother of a baby found inside a dustbin in Maraval earlier this week.
Unconfirmed reports state that the woman was arrested at her workplace, Weili Chinese Restaurant and Bar, located at Bowen Street in Maraval on Friday night.
It is alleged that the woman lived upstairs the Restaurant where she worked.
On Wednesday 4th October 2023, sanitation workers discovered the dead baby inside a white garbage bag that was placed in a garbage basket that belonged to the Restaurant.
